What to Expect
A typical session at Saint Paul Hyperbaric Oxygen Center is designed for your ultimate comfort, safety, and healing.
Step 1: Consultation & Prescription
Meet with our medical team to create a personalized treatment plan based on your needs. A typical course might be twenty sessions over two months.
Step 2: Getting Comfortable
Arrive in loose clothing. Our technician will invite you into our spacious hard-sided chamber, fit you with a proper sized oxygen mask so you can breathe 100% oxygen, and ensure you are fully relaxed.
Step 3: The 60-Minute Session
Once your session begins, you will experience 10-15 minutes to pressurize followed by 60 minutes at your therapeutic pressure, ending with 10-15 minutes to depressurize.

We deliver 100% oxygen at 10 liters per minute — the exact concentration and flow rate used in clinical and hospital settings. This requires a physician's prescription, and we have an MD on staff to provide it.
